‘Minority Report’ TV Series Doing Tweaks; Casts Nick Zano as the other Pre-Cog Twin
Some changes are underway at the production of the “Minority Report” small screen adaptation.
The show, which is set to debut on September via FOX, has added Nick Zano as its series regular. The actor will be playing the role of Arthur, the fraternal twin brother of Dash (played by Stark Sands). Zano previously starred in the comedy series “One Big Happy” and have also guested on a few other sitcoms. His addition brings a twist to the story, as the twins in the film were identical twins.
“Minority Report” is set 10 years following the end of Pre-crime in Washington and Dash, a pre-cog individual, has the ability to see crimes before they take place. As Dash tries to go about life as normally as possible, he is still constantly haunted by his visions. When he comes across a detective (played by Meagan Good), only then does Dash finally see that he could use his visions to help others.
Meanwhile, his twin, Arthur, is Dash’s complete opposite, who uses his gift for personal gain. Arthur was able to build an empire using his precognitive visions. The twin brothers are not close, but they are aware that they can be stronger together.
From time to time, the brothers use their powers to help each other. But somewhere down the line, things will just take its toll.
The pilot episode has been shot, with Sands originally meant to play both twin roles (only with Arthur’s profile appearing as a shadow or image only).
Catch the show’s debut on Monday, Sept. 21 at 9:00 p.m. on FOX.
