Illegal or not? Calvin Abueva in ligang labas amidst PBA suspension video surfaces
Suspended Phoenix Fuel Masters forward Calvin Abueva has been spotted playing in a barangay league in Montalban, Rizal.
In a video that first appeared on Nachor Deimos’ public Facebook post Sunday, Abueva was seen suiting up for a squad in a jam-packed arena.
Abueva has been suspended indefinitely for 2 months now ever since clotheslining TNT KaTropa import Terrence Jones early in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Fuel Masters head coach Louie Alas later on bared Abueva needed approval from the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) in order to be able to continue playing professionally.
Is Abueva’s latest act illegal or not? Will it be detrimental further to his status? Only time will tell.
