Wolf Howl Harmony’s Big Brazil Move: “Gachi Funk” Goes Portuguese
Wolf Howl Harmony is sending “Gachi Funk” back to Brazil in Portuguese. The group releases a Portuguese version of the song’s chorus on TikTok and Instagram on Oct. 4.
Titled “Gachi Funk (Portuguese ver.),” the release is a deliberate move rather than a simple language swap. It is an attempt to hand the song back to the fans and creators who made it feel like home in the first place.

Gachi Funk Portuguese Version Built for TikTok and Instagram
The new version puts Portuguese at the center of the chorus. The original track already draws from funk, hip-hop and Brazilian influences, with Portuguese, English and Japanese woven throughout.
Released as a sound for TikTok and Instagram, the Portuguese version is designed to be used, not just heard. Dance videos, fashion, makeup, transitions, comedy and everyday routines can all become part of where the song goes.
The chorus gives the song a fresh way to connect with listeners beyond Japan. Fans and creators also get a new way to bring “Gachi Funk” into their own content.
GHEE’s Brazilian Roots Drive Wolf Howl Harmony’s Global Push
A personal connection also drives the move. Group member GHEE has Brazilian roots, which makes Brazil a meaningful part of the group’s story.
That connection took the group to São Paulo, where they performed “Gachi Funk” live for a Brazilian audience at the large-scale event Anime Friends 2026. The Portuguese version carries that bond online.
The release marks another step toward reaching fans beyond Japan, particularly across Brazil and Latin America. Rather than simply adding another language, the group is opening up its hook to a new community of listeners and creators.

GHEE hopes the version can become a bridge to listeners around the world. “I’d love for people across Brazil, Latin America, and honestly the whole world to get to know Wolf Howl Harmony’s music even more,” he said.
“It’s not just about social media either, I want to actually get out to different countries, meet everyone in person, and sing together more and more,” he added. He then tied that goal to the Portuguese version.
“If the Portuguese version of ‘Gachi Funk’ becomes one more step connecting us with people around the world, that would make me really happy,” he continued. The version arrives on TikTok and Instagram on Oct. 4.
The next chapter of the song is no longer entirely in the group’s hands. The hook is out there, and fans and creators will decide where it goes.
