NBA highlights: Durant, Irving combine for 48 as Nets win opener
Kyrie Irving had 26 points while Kevin Durant added 22 as the Brooklyn Nets walked away with a dominant 125-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night in the NBA 2021 season opener.
Irving shot an efficient 10/16 from the floor and knocked down 4 triples. Caris LeVert added 20 points and 9 rebounds off the bench.
Steph Curry led Golden State with 20 points and 10 assists although he struggled from the field (7/21 FGs).
James Wiseman, the 2nd overall pick of this year’s draft, started and tallied 19 points in his official debut.
The Warriors were still without Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
