NBA: Lakers’ Anthony Davis questionable vs Clippers after eye injury
Los Angeles Lakers all-star forward Anthony Davis may not suit up in the team’s NBA season restart opener against the Los Angeles Clippers on July 30.
Davis suffered an eye injury after inadvertently being poked in the eye last Saturday in one of the Lakers’ scrimmages.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers may take a “conservative” approach when it comes to Davis’ situation.

Woj noted that voting for this year’s awardees (MVP, DPOY, all-NBA teams, etc.) is already finished and there is no reason to pad stats during games.
The Lakers will not try to secure higher seeding as well since there is no real homecourt advantage inside the NBA bubble in Orlando.
