Kokoniiru Gets a Bold New Sound With KOKORO and YUGA
The original “ココニイル Kokoniiru” was written and composed by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo. It first served as the ending theme for the anime “Recommendation from Mr. Iwamoto.”
Its lyrics wrestle with self-doubt and the quiet resolve to keep moving forward. That intimate tone made it an unlikely pick for a multi-artist remix.
Kohatsu and Yuga didn’t simply add background vocals. Their voices reshape the song’s emotional core and bring new texture to its themes of vulnerability and connection.
Kohatsu said he aimed to “feel each other’s presence” while recording. Yuga described the session as everyone singing “with one shared heart.”
The pairing also links three acts chasing global growth on their own terms. PSYCHIC FEVER has spent recent years expanding across Asia, while ONE OR EIGHT has built international buzz since debuting in 2024.
WOLF HOWL HARMONY, meanwhile, has been steadily growing its presence in Thailand and beyond. Their paths now cross on a single track.
More Kokoniiru Versions Are Already on the Way
This remix is only the beginning of a bigger rollout. WOLF HOWL HARMONY confirmed two more versions of “ココニイル Kokoniiru” are on the way.
One will feature YUHI of THE JET BOY BANGERZ. Another will be performed solely by the group, though neither has dropped yet.
Yuhi has already teased what drew him to the project. He said the song’s ability to turn “clashing individual personalities” into something beautiful felt true to WOLF HOWL HARMONY’s identity.
He also noted the excitement of reuniting in the booth with members RYOJI and SUZUKI. For Ryoji, the entire rollout is rooted in gratitude toward the fans who have supported the group’s growth.
He explained that layering different artists’ voices into “ココニイル Kokoniiru” was the group’s way of giving back across genres and borders. Each new version adds another layer to a song that started deeply personal.
