PBA: Jeremiah Gray to join Rookie Draft
Former Alab Pilipinas wing man Jeremiah Gray will join the next PBA Rookie Draft.
The 23-year-old Fil-Am announced it via a local news website, even adding that he wishes to play for crowd darlings Barangay Ginebra San Miguel:
“Yes, I am. If everything lines up and they say I am eligible, I will be entering.”
The PBA, which is currently on the verge of the Philippine Cup playoffs, has long explored tweaking the rules for rookie draft eligibility.
Gray made a mark for Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League, where he showed flashes of his athleticism, as well as outside shooting.
He also participated for Mighty Sports in the Dubai International Basketball Tournament, as well as ESPN’s The Basketball Tournament.
