Thirdy Ravena scores 12 in 2nd game but NeoPhoenix falls short
Thirdy Ravena continued his impressive showing as an Asian import in the Japan B.League, scoring 12 points on Sunday against the Shimane Susando Magic.
However, his club, San-En NeoPhoenix, fell short, losing 81-74 as they were hounded by foul troubles.
Nevertheless, Ravena played more minutes in the wing position, logging in over 24 minutes.
He also grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out an assist. The former Ateneo Blue Eagle scored 9 of his 12 points in the 1st half.
NeoPhoenix kept it close in the 1st quarter. However, foul problems from their two bigs — both imports — spelled doom as the Magic raced to as high as a 17-point lead.
