NBA: Giannis’ 36-18 game not enough as Bucks collapse to Rockets [VIDEO]

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 36 points and 18 rebounds but the Milwaukee Bucks blew a late lead as the Houston Rockets escaped with a 120-116 victory Sunday in the NBA bubble in Orlando.

The Bucks were still up 112-104 with over 3 minutes to go in regulation when the Rockets began hitting outside shots.

Antetokounmpo did give Milwaukee a 116-115 lead under a minute left but a foul against Russell Westbrook gave Houston the upperhand.

In the next play, the reigning MVP whipped a crosscourt pass intended for Kyle Korver but was intercepted by Danuel House, sealing the outcome of the game.

Westbrook had 31 points to lead the Rockets, which are now 4th in the Western Conference with a 42-24 record.

The Rockets also spoiled a huge double-double game from Milwaukee’s Brook Lopez.
