NBA: League execs propose 25-day program before season returns
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has asked league stakeholders for ideas as the league mulls resuming the 2020 season.
According to an exclusive online report, one of the suggestions is having an organized 25-day plan for players to get back to ideal shape before the games return.
In the proposed program, players will first undergo 11 days of individual workouts while still maintaining social distancing.
It will be followed by a two-week training camp for each team, provided medical officials allow them to happen.
Many players around the league aren’t able to train properly due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with most only being stuck at home with limited equipment or workout routines.
One of them is league reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo of the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks, who went on record a few weeks ago that he has not been able to shoot hoops at all.
