PBA: Phoenix’s Louie Alas hopes Calvin Abueva ban will be lifted soon
Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters head coach Louie Alas is hoping suspended forward Calvin Abueva’s ban from the PBA would be lifted soon.
Alas remarked that Abueva has been religiously involving himself in activities likee outreach and charity work as required by the league in order to reinstate himself.
“Dun sa mga activities namin sa mga outreach namin religiously pumupunta siya, documented to, and then sa tulong na rin ng mgakaibigan niya sa Pampanga, ang dami rin niyang activities like yung mga tree planting, mga outreach na ginagawa niya,” said Alas, per Spin.ph.
The mentor also spoke of how consistently Abueva has been taking the necessary steps in hopes of lifting the suspension.
“Consistently okay lahat ng ginagawa nya, yun nga lang suspended pa so medyo di pa ano, allowances lang binibigay sa kanya kasi with due espect sa PBA office.”
Alas can only wait, but he remains hopeful that the PBA finally allows his stalwart to play again.
