Azkals’ Phil Younghusband retires from football
Long-time Philippine Azkals member Phil Younghusband, who is arguably one of the people who defined Philippine football this decade, has announced his retirement.
Younghusband, 32, played for 15 years for the national team and is one of the best forwards local football has seen in the modern era.
Throughout his career, Younghusband has scored 52 international goals for 108 caps for the Azkals.
