Alab Pilipinas: Former youth player Jordan Heading joins PH ABL squad
Former Energen U-16 Pilipinas member Jordan Heading is confirmed to be joining San Miguel Alab Pilipinas for the 2019-2020 ASEAN Basketball League season.
The 6-foot-2 Fil-Aussie guard averaged 15.2 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 2.7 APG in 31 games for the California Baptist University Lancers in the US NCAA Division I during his final season.
Now 23 years old, Heading shot 36% from 3-point area in his senior year for CBU, while finishing 2nd in total assists.
Among Heading’s teammates during the 2011 U16 Philippine team pool are current UAAP stars like Isaac Go, Hubert Cani, and Andrei Caracut, and JJ Alejandro and Paolo Rivero, among others.
Heading is expected to boost the overall shooting ability of Alab for the upcoming ABL season, as he joins the likes of Jeremiah Gray, Jason Brickman, and Louie Vigil.
