Wrestlemania 32 Rumors: Ronda Rousey Appearing with The Rock In Dallas?

The WWE continues to find ways to make Wrestlemania 32 a huge success and adding Ronda Rousey could be the answer to all that.

According to reports, the WWE has plans to somehow inject the former UFC Women’s bantamweight champion and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson into the main event.

The main event will of course see Triple H and presumably Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight title, pending the results of WWE Fastlane which happens this February.

So assuming everything stays on course, what exactly will Rousey be doing?

Previous word had it that the Rock will be by his cousin’s (Roman Reigns) corner seeing that the ‘League of Nations will likely be involved in this one. If not the faction, Vince and Stephanie McMahon could be there alternatively.

To even the odds, Rousey could be the one inserted into the fray. That could make sense and probably give Reigns some needed backing too.

Remember that during Wrestlemania 31, there was that confrontation between the Rock, Rousey, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

That scene was one of the biggest ones for that WWE PPV and rumors of a possible match involving Rousey swirled.

All that were killed when Dana White stepped in but all that was made before Ronda Rousey lost to Holly Holm at UFC 193 back in November.

Why would Rousey take the offer? For one, it could help her pick up the pieces of a badly battered ego. Her confidence was in question and many believe that ‘Rowdy’ was not yet ready to return to the UFC circle.

Rousey did ask for some time off due to changes in her Hollywood filming schedule though it wouldn’t be surprising if it was a means for her to regroup as well.

Anyway, Rousey could probably regain her confidence by being part of the WWE spectacle. She mentioned last year that she would love to return to Wrestlemania and this could be the perfect time as ever and serve some purpose.

Again, all these are rumors. But in the event the WWE strikes a deal with the former UFC champion, it could be a big boost to fill up the AT&T Stadium and make Wrestlemania 32 pretty big.
