Netflix To Remake Charlie Brooker’s ‘Black Mirror’

The critically lauded dystopian British drama series “Black Mirror” has long been rumored for an American adaptation. Sources now say that the drama will finally push forward on Netflix.

Radio Times  exclusively reported that the streaming giant have and Charlie Brooker, “Black Mirror’s” creator have agreed with the terms to remake the drama for multi episodes.

The series, which last aired a Christmas special with American actor Jon Hamm, has already run the British original on the streaming site.

The news outlet also said that Brooker is in the process of writing more scripts to gear up for a new season on UK television. “Black Mirror” airs on Channel 4 in this side of the pond.

“Black Mirror” is an anthology that delves on the dark side of how society embraces technology. Its shocking twists and stories have been well-received both by viewers and critics. It has aired seven episodes in three seasons so far in U.K.
