Da-iCE Go Bigger Than Ever on Star-Studded New Single ‘Unlimited’

Da-iCE just raised the stakes. Their new single, “アンリミテッド Unlimited,” doesn’t ease listeners in — it opens on a breakbeat that’s already at full speed and never lets up.

By the time the chorus lands, a full band and horn section are throwing everything they’ve got at the track. This is Da-iCE going bigger, louder and bolder than ever before.

A Self-Written Track Built for Maximum Scale

Members Taiki Kudo and Sota Hanamura wrote “Unlimited” themselves before bringing in producer Yusuke Saeki, working under his alias Saeki youthK, to help arrange and expand the composition. Saeki’s résumé includes work with some of Japan’s biggest acts, including Arashi, Snow Man and SixTONES, along with solo projects for Nissy, Kana Nishino and miyana.

That kind of pedigree usually signals polish. Instead, “Unlimited” sounds like it’s trying to outrun its own ambition — and mostly winning. The result is a track that feels massive without losing the personal touch of its member-driven origins.

Signature Da-iCE Lyricism Meets Anthem-Sized Sound

Underneath the scale, the songwriting stays exactly where longtime fans expect it: layered and clever, the kind of lyricism that reveals something new on the third listen you didn’t catch on the first. On “Unlimited,” that depth gets pointed forward and defiant, built for a summer that wants something bigger than background noise.

“アンリミテッド Unlimited” isn’t asking permission to go big. It already went.
