Beyond The Valley 2026/27: Everything You Need to Know Now

Beyond The Valley has unveiled the lineup for its 11th edition, and Australia’s largest multi-day music festival is coming back bigger than ever after selling out in under an hour last year.

The festival returns to Barunah Plains from December 28 through January 1, kicking off its second decade with a lineup that spans dance music, hip-hop, grime, and homegrown Australian talent all on one bill.

Leading the charge is global dance music powerhouse John Summit, who will headline the festival’s most coveted moment: the New Year’s Eve countdown into 2027. He’s joined by multi-platinum American superstars Black Eyed Peas, playing an exclusive Australian show, alongside Dutch rave royalty KI/KI and British grime pioneer Skepta, who returns to BTV for the first time since 2019/20.

Headliners John Summit, Black Eyed Peas, Skepta Lead Stacked Bill

Summit arrives fresh off the release of his latest album, “CTRL ESCAPE,” and a headline set at Tomorrowland 2026. The DJ, producer, and label owner has amassed more than a billion global streams, scored two No. 1 US dance radio hits, and landed eight top-10 tracks on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. With three sold-out headline shows at LA’s Kia Forum, a headline debut at London’s O2 Arena, and a debut Ibiza residency at [UNVRS] under his belt, Summit is one of the most in-demand names in dance music heading into his BTV countdown set.

Black Eyed Peas make a rare Australian exclusive appearance at the festival. Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, the group has spent decades fusing hip-hop, pop, electro, and Latin sounds into some of the most iconic songs of the 21st century. Six-time Grammy winners with more than 35 million albums and 120 million singles sold worldwide, the group’s landmark records “Elephunk” and “The E.N.D.” delivered era-defining anthems including “Where Is the Love?,” “Boom Boom Pow,” and “I Gotta Feeling.” Their reach hasn’t slowed either — their classic hit “Rock That Body” became the second-biggest song on TikTok globally in 2025.

KI/KI has emerged as one of electronic music’s most influential voices, selling out 20,000-capacity shows and becoming a Spotify Global EQUAL Ambassador. In 2025, she made history as the first woman to win the Dance category at the Netherlands’ Edison Pop Awards. She returns to Barunah Plains for a three-hour set following her collaboration with Underworld on “Arp12.”

Skepta, meanwhile, returns to BTV for the first time in six years. The Tottenham-born grime MC delivered a standout Glastonbury set in 2025 and has teamed up with Fred again.. on singles “Victory Lap” and “Back 2 Back.” He brings era-defining tracks like “Shutdown” and “That’s Not Me” back to the festival.

Rounding out the major names are Australian favorites Ocean Alley, making their BTV debut off the back of chart-topping album “Love Balloon”; pop icons The Veronicas, returning for the first time since 2019; British jungle trailblazer Nia Archives; American rapper Vince Staples; house institution Armand Van Helden; UK duo Overmono; and American house hitmaker Disco Lines.

The broader lineup runs deep, featuring Frost Children, SPFDJ, Jayda G, salute, southstar, Odd Mob, Dean Turnley, Hannah Laing, Ewan McVicar, Funk Tribu, Job Jobse, Boys Noize, Anetha, Hamdi, and dozens more across electronic, hip-hop, and live band programming, including The Jungle Giants, Playlunch, Rum Jungle, and 2charm.

Beyond the music, BTV’s non-music programming returns in full force through The Lounge Room, which will host live podcasts, interactive experiences, and conversations throughout the festival. Highlights include Weightman’s Law, Cupid’s Court Live Dating Show, Kath Ebbs’ Cowboy C*untry line dancing event, and Wintana Kidane’s podcast “Bittersweet,” alongside The Grill Podcast, Listen Up with Ash McGregor, and Ball Magnets Podcast, among others.

Festival organizers are also bringing back BTV’s three main stages: The Valley Stage, making its biggest appearance in festival history; the Dance Dome; and Dr Dan’s. New for this edition is The Woods, a hidden paradise built for campers, alongside the return of Bunnings, Salomon’s expanded Run Club with Base Camp, The Palms Pool House, The Sanctuary, and members-only playground The Valley Club.

Accommodation options include general and premium camping, Lux Camp packages, pre-pitched tents, and off-site hotels with bus transport. Tickets are available in 4-day, 3-day, 2-day, NYE-only, and single-day formats, with Ticket + Car Pass bundles and flexible payment through Afterpay, Zip Pay, and Laybuy.

The festival also has government backing behind it. “The Victorian Government is proud to back Beyond the Valley through the Regional Events Fund,” said Minister for Tourism Natalie Suleyman. “Events like this provide another fantastic reason for visitors to experience the Bellarine and Greater Geelong region.”
