NPDC to host Changing of the Guard and Silent Drill Exhibition at Rizal Park
Manila, Philippines – The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) is set to host a stirring afternoon of ceremony and silent precision at Rizal Park, Luneta, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

The program will open at the Rizal Monument with the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, a solemn display of vigilance and discipline by the Philippine Marine Corps. The ritual embodies respect for the nation’s heritage and honors the values of service and patriotism that define the country’s protectors.
A showcase of unity and precision
After the ceremony, the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Silent Drill Company will perform at Lawn A in a mesmerizing Silent Drill Exhibition. Executed without verbal commands, the routine emphasizes the cadets’ discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in public service.
The NPDC said the free public event stands as a living tribute to the ideals of honor, service, and patriotism championed by both the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.
Celebrating national discipline and heritage
Residents and visitors are encouraged to witness this display of unity and precision in the heart of Manila — a moment of national pride that reaffirms the enduring spirit of Filipino valor and dedication.
