NPDC to host Changing of the Guard and Silent Drill Exhibition at Rizal Park
MANILA — The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) invites the public to a solemn and inspiring afternoon of ceremony and precision at Rizal Park, Luneta, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
The event begins at the Rizal Monument with the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, performed by the Philippine Marine Corps. This ritual embodies vigilance, discipline, and reverence for the nation’s heritage.

Silent drill exhibition highlights cadets’ skill
Following the guard ceremony, the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Silent Drill Company will perform a Silent Drill Exhibition at Lawn A. Executed with flawless timing and without verbal commands, the display showcases the cadets’ unity, precision, and dedication to public service.
Free public tribute to honor and patriotism
According to the NPDC, the event is a free public offering designed to celebrate the values of honor, service, and patriotism upheld by both the Philippine Marine Corps and MAAP cadets. Visitors are encouraged to witness this moving tribute to national discipline and heritage in the heart of Manila.
