Da-iCE debut Sanctuaryサンクチュアリ as official track for Tokyo GX Action

Da-iCE returns with a powerful anthem for environmental change — “Sanctuaryサンクチュアリ”, the official theme song for TOKYO GX ACTION CHANGING ~未来を変える脱炭素アクション~. The event, set for 17–18 May at Tokyo Big Sight, promotes carbon neutrality and green transformation across Tokyo.
The song was produced in collaboration with Yujin Kitagawa of Yuzu and co-written by Da-iCE members Taiki Kudo and Sota Hanamura. With all five members lending vocals, the track delivers an emotional message wrapped in Da-iCE’s trademark harmonies and heartfelt resolve.
“Sanctuaryサンクチュアリ” captures the spirit of the initiative — using music as a vehicle for environmental advocacy and individual empowerment. The Tokyo GX Action campaign drives the city’s energy shift, aiming to halve carbon emissions by 2030 and reach full neutrality by 2050.
The track will be premiered live on 18 May during the Da-iCE Special Live at the TOKYO GX ACTION showcase. The performance coincides with the ABB FIA Formula E Tokyo E-Prix and marks the group’s first-ever environmental theme release.
By combining music and message, Da-iCE calls listeners to action: to stay hopeful, stay connected, and shape a sustainable future through harmony and conviction. The song’s debut is also a milestone in the group’s evolution.
Later this year, Da-iCE will bring that same energy to fans nationwide through the Da-iCE ARENA TOUR 2025 -EntranCE-. The group continues to break records, with hits like “CITRUS” and “Star Mine” marking their dominance across streaming platforms and generations.
With over a decade of success and performances at the NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, Da-iCE remains a defining force in Japan’s modern pop scene. Their newest album, MUSi-aM, and the award-winning track “I wonder” highlight their continued growth and artistry.
