NBA: Ingram leads Pelicans to upset win as Grizzlies have more trouble [VIDEO]
The road to the playoffs will not get easier for the Memphis Grizzlies as the New Orleans Pelicans scored a 119-109 upset victory on Monday in the NBA bubble in Orlando.
Brandon Ingram had 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists while Zion Williamson added 23 points in more playing time, as well as 7 rebounds.
Jaren Jackson led all Grizzlies with 22 points.
Memphis is still in the 8th spot right now with a 32-36 record but the Portland Trail Blazers (30-38) and San Antonio Spurs (29-37) are both trailing by just 2 games.
If the 9th seed is within 4 games or less of the 8th seed, there will be a play-in round wherein the 9th placed team in the conference has to beat the 8th placed team twice for the final playoff spot.
