NBA: LeBron, Davis take charge as Lakers clinch West top spot [VIDEO]

The Los Angeles Lakers have claimed the best record in the Western Conference after a 116-108 win over the Utah Jazz Monday in the NBA bubble in Orlando.

Anthony Davis exploded for 42 points and also hauled down 12 rebounds while LeBron James added 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in the win.

The victory pushed the Lakers to a 51-15 record, the best in the West and a nice consolation to their 1st playoff appearance since 2013.

The Lakers will face the 8th seed in the conference, which is still a toss-up between the Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, or Portland Trail Blazers.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz in the loss with 33 points while Mike Conley contributed 24.
