Football: Ceres-Negros renamed to United City FC after ownership change
Ceres-Negros FC, the no. 1-ranked club in the ASEAN region and the defending 3-time Philippines Football League champion, will rename to United City Football Club.
This is after a change in ownership following the purchase of investors managed by MMC Sportz Asia.

Last July 8, the squad released a statement which already mentioned investors were interested in buying the team.
The new ownership group intends to retain 16 of the 21 players on the line-up, as well as current head coach Risto Vidakovic.
