Usher, Britney, Beyoncé Dominate 2026’s Top Party Song List
Forget the new releases flooding your playlists. New research has crowned the ultimate party songs of 2026, and the list reads like a throwback to the 2000s.
Usher‘s “Yeah!” featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris takes the top spot. Britney Spears‘ “Toxic” and Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love” also land in the top five.
The findings come from HelloMillions, which analyzed the 20 most-followed US party playlists on Spotify. The study measured songs across four key metrics to determine the rankings.
Usher’s “Yeah!” Tops the Definitive Party Song Ranking
“Yeah!” scored a 9.37 out of 10, the highest Party Song Score in the study. The 2004 club anthem also appears in nine of the 20 playlists surveyed.
It didn’t stop there. “Yeah!” also posted the highest danceability score in the top 10, coming in at 89 out of 100.
Britney Spears’ “Toxic” and Disco Lines’ “No Broke Boys” tied for second place, both scoring 8.27. Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss” followed close behind at 8.02.
Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love,” featuring JAY-Z, rounded out the top five with a score of 7.82. Notably, four of the five top tracks are more than seven years old.
Only “No Broke Boys,” released in 2025, cracked the top five among newer releases. That suggests a genuine party starter rarely goes out of style.
Old-School Hits Still Rule the Dance Floor and TikTok
Danceability told a similar story. “Yeah!” led the pack at 89, followed by “One Kiss” at 79, with “No Broke Boys” and “Toxic” tied at 77.
Newer songs didn’t fare as well by comparison. David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue),” one of the more recent entries, posted the lowest danceability score at 56.
On TikTok, “One Kiss” reigned supreme with 1.8 million videos using the sound. “Toxic” followed with 1.1 million videos of its own.
Viral reach didn’t always match playlist loyalty, though. Flo Rida’s “Good Feeling” and Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” both appeared in more playlists than “One Kiss,” yet “Good Feeling” managed just 1,911 TikTok videos.
Rounding out the top 10 were Calvin Harris’ “Feel So Close,” Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” and Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ “We Found Love.” Each scored above 7.0 on the Party Song Score scale.
HelloMillions weighted each metric differently to calculate the final score. Playlist appearances counted for 45%, danceability for 25%, and Spotify popularity and TikTok usage for 20% each.
