Culdcept: The First Saturn Tribute Storms Switch, PS5 and Xbox
A cult classic fans waited decades for has finally arrived. Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute is now live on Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The launch comes from Clear River Games and developer City Connection. Series creator Omiya Soft is also on board.
It follows the PC version, released on Steam in late July. A physical edition ships in November.

Culdcept blends board-game strategy with card-based combat. That formula built a loyal fan base since 1997.
For the first time ever, the game includes English subtitles. That finally opens the door for Western players.
It also adds quality-of-life upgrades built for modern gamers. The goal is to modernize without losing its identity.
The game unfolds in Culdra Space, a world shaped by the goddess Culdra. Players take on the role of a “Cepter.”
Each Cepter builds a custom 50-card deck to explore the board. Along the way, they summon creatures to battle.
At the center is Culdcept, a legendary book said to hold creation’s power. Every dice roll pushes players deeper into the fight.
Cepters claim and defend land by placing creatures on the map. Spell Cards let them manipulate dice or sabotage rivals.
New Quality-of-Life Features Make Culdcept Easier to Jump Into
Clear River Games packed in tools built for modern players. Rewind lets gamers jump back to any checkpoint at a Fort or Castle.
Quick Save and Quick Load let players save at any moment. It’s separate from the game’s standard save system.
A toggleable Bonus Pack increases Reward Cards earned per match. It can be switched on or off in the options menu.
A new Reveal Hands feature shows both hands on-screen at all times. That’s a shift from the original’s limited visibility.
Language Switching lets players choose Japanese or English. Together, these additions make the game far more accessible.
That accessibility doesn’t cost the game its depth. The strategy that hooked fans in 1997 remains fully intact.
The game is available now on Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99 / €29.99. PC players can find it on Steam at the same price.
