A new cross-border idol supergroup is officially howling into existence, and it’s bringing Japan and Thailand together like never before.

WOLF & WANDER, the seven-member special unit formed under G&LDH — a joint venture between Japan’s premier artist management company LDH JAPAN and Thailand’s largest entertainment company GMM MUSIC — will drop its debut digital single, “Better Life,” on July 17 at 7 p.m. ICT (UTC+7). The announcement arrived alongside the unit’s official launch in the final episode of the “CLOUD DREAM” Project Documentary Series, which premiered July 9, as well as the debut of WOLF & WANDER’s official social media accounts.

Two Idol Powerhouses Merge Into One Cross-Cultural Unit

WOLF & WANDER unites seven artists across two countries and two entertainment giants: RYOJI, SUZUKI, GHEE, and HIROTO of WOLF HOWL HARMONY from EXILE TRIBE (LDH JAPAN), joined by LOUIS, FORD, and FLUKE of FLIO (GMMTV). The unit is the flagship product of the CLOUD DREAM project by G&LDH, bringing together artists from both countries under a shared musical and creative vision.

The documentary series that introduced the unit’s formation featured a lineup of guest appearances underscoring the scale of the collaboration, including Thai artists Krist Perawat (Episode 4) and LYKN (Episode 5), alongside EXILE TRIBE members TAKI of THE JET BOY BANGERZ / SEGA SAMMY LUX (Episode 2), KOKORO of PSYCHIC FEVER (Episode 7), and GAN (Takanori Iwata) of J SOUL BROTHERS III (Episode 8).

Even the group’s name carries meaning behind the branding. “WOLF” represents a spirit built on mutual trust, discipline, and unbreakable bonds, while “WANDER” reflects the drive to step beyond the familiar, cross borders, and chart new territory. Together, the concept positions the seven members as a “pack” whose brotherhood transcends nationality — a message the group has leaned into heavily ahead of its debut.

“Better Life” Single Sets Up Live Debut at Bangkok Festival

Leading the charge is “Better Life,” a multilingual pop track sung in English, Japanese, and Thai that mirrors the group’s multicultural roots while delivering an uplifting message about moving toward a better future together.

“I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this project,” said LOUIS. “I hope our debut song, ‘Better Life,’ can bring hope and happiness to everyone, and offer even the smallest bit of strength whenever you’re feeling tired or down.”

RYOJI echoed that sentiment, framing the group’s relationship with fans as something deeper than typical fandom. “To us, more than just fans, you are our companions. You are our pack,” he said. “As WOLF & WANDER, we hope our voices will bring happiness to people all over the world. Let’s make our dreams come true, together! Please continue to support us! Love you!”

The momentum won’t stop at the single’s release. WOLF & WANDER is set to make its live debut just over a week later at Monster Music Festival 2026, one of the largest music festivals in central Bangkok, on July 26 — giving fans their first chance to see the seven-member unit perform together on stage.

Fans looking to follow the group’s next moves can track updates through WOLF & WANDER’s official social media channels as the unit’s journey officially begins.
