Ministry of Sound announces Bali residency for its 35-year world tour.

Ministry of Sound is bringing its global celebration to Southeast Asia, announcing a Bali residency as part of its 35-year world tour, marking a major moment for the island’s growing electronic music scene.

The five-show series will take place at The Stage in Seminyak, kicking off on May 30 and running across select dates in June, July, August and December. It marks the first extended residency for the iconic London brand in Bali.

Following successful stops in Dubai, Helsinki and Miami earlier this year, the tour continues its international run with a carefully curated lineup that blends established names with rising talent.

The opening night will feature Low Steppa, joined by Monki and Siân Owen, setting the tone for a residency built around house, tech house and deeper club sounds.

Global brand brings signature sound to Bali

Ministry of Sound’s expansion into Bali reflects both the brand’s legacy and its commitment to evolving with global dance culture. The residency aims to deliver a series of standout nights that capture the energy and diversity of modern electronic music.

Head of Live Events Jared McCulloch emphasized the significance of the move, highlighting the importance of collaborating with local partners and showcasing artists who represent both heritage and contemporary sounds.

The lineup for the opening event alone signals the direction of the residency. Low Steppa’s influence in house and bass music, combined with Monki’s distinct style and Siân Owen’s sound, offers a strong introduction to the series.

Each show throughout the residency is expected to feature a mix of international acts and emerging names, reinforcing the brand’s identity as both a tastemaker and global platform.

Bali strengthens position as electronic music hub

The residency is being delivered in partnership with Primuse Entertainment, with The Stage serving as the central venue for all five shows. The newly relaunched indoor space in Seminyak is set to host the full takeover.

Bali’s rise as a destination for electronic music events has made it a natural fit for Ministry of Sound’s world tour. The island continues to attract international DJs, promoters and audiences seeking large-scale club experiences.

Originally founded in London in 1991, Ministry of Sound has played a key role in shaping global dance culture through its club, record label and international events. The 35-year world tour represents its most ambitious global rollout to date.

With more dates and full lineups still to be announced, the Bali residency is positioned as a key stop in the tour. As anticipation builds, the series is expected to draw both regional and international crowds looking for world-class club nights in one of Asia’s top party destinations.
