Michelin awards Dubai’s Trèsind Studio with prestigious 3-star rating

Dubai cemented its status as a global dining capital as the MICHELIN Guide revealed its 2025 Dubai selection featuring 119 establishments across 35 cuisines. The ceremony held at Address Sky View spotlighted innovation, diversity, and a historic milestone for Indian gastronomy.
In a global first, Trèsind Studio earned Three MICHELIN Stars, marking the highest recognition ever for an Indian restaurant. FZN by Björn Frantzén also debuted with Three Stars, delivering a seamless fusion of Scandinavian and Asian luxury dining.
Record-Setting Honors and Fresh Culinary Icons
Jamavar and Manāo were awarded One MICHELIN Star each, adding to Dubai’s growing list of world-class dining destinations. Chef Abhiraj Khatwani’s Manāo, inspired by his Thai heritage, also earned him the coveted Young Chef Award.
Dubai now boasts two Three MICHELIN Star restaurants, three with Two Stars, and fourteen with One Star distinctions. The Bib Gourmand list welcomed five new names including DUO Gastrobar-Creek Harbour, Harummanis, and Hawkerboi, celebrated for delivering exceptional food at great value.
Special Awards Highlight Talent Across the Industry
Ronin won Opening of the Year for its immersive pan-Asian experience at FIVE LUXE JBR Hotel. Shiv Menon of Boca received the Sommelier Award for his eco-conscious wine expertise, while the team at Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant was honored for their exceptional service.
The 2025 edition reinforces Dubai’s culinary leadership and diverse identity, powered by residents of nearly 200 nationalities. The MICHELIN Guide continues to elevate the city’s appeal for travelers seeking unforgettable gastronomic adventures.
