Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe releases ‘I Got Ways’ ahead of upcoming album ‘Different’
Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe, managed under LDH Japan and Warner Music Japan, has released its new single “I Got Ways,” marking a significant step in the group’s evolving artistic direction. The track arrives alongside an official music video and serves as a preview of the group’s upcoming sophomore album, “Different,” scheduled for release on July 10.
The single is produced by Grammy-nominated producer Rykeyz, known for his work with global artists including Chris Brown and H.E.R., and introduces a more refined sound built around the theme of “mature composure.” The group moves away from its earlier high-energy style, embracing a more controlled and confident musical identity.

“I Got Ways” is accompanied by a cinematic music video that highlights a darker, more atmospheric visual concept. The video adopts a late-night aesthetic, featuring rain-soaked settings and expressive choreography that emphasizes restraint and emotional depth.
Psychic Fever explores mature sound
The group’s new direction reflects a deliberate artistic shift, with members challenging themselves vocally and stylistically to match the song’s sensual and polished tone. Member Jimmy shared that even the group’s rappers explored a more melodic approach to better align with the track’s concept.
Choreography for the music video was handled by Kazuki of s**t kingz, further elevating the performance through precise and expressive movement. The combination of visual direction and choreography reinforces the group’s transition toward a more global and sophisticated image.
Psychic Fever continues global rise
Following the success of their viral hit “Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY,” which charted on Spotify’s Viral Top 50 across multiple Asian countries including the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, Psychic Fever continues to expand its international reach.
Their upcoming album, “Different,” marks the group’s first full-length release in four years and is expected to showcase a broad range of sounds, blending high-energy tracks with more introspective material.
With “I Got Ways,” Psychic Fever further solidifies its position as a rising global J-pop act, continuing to bridge cultural boundaries while maintaining a distinct artistic identity.
