NBA: Klay Thompson out for 2021 season after achilles injury
In a devastating turn of events, the Goldrn State Warriors confirmed that shooter Klay Thompson will likely miss the 2021 season due to an achilles injury.
News came out earlier in the week that Thompson had a significant lower right leg injury sustained in practice.
It was confirmed by the Warriors to be an achilles injury.
Thompson missed the 2020 season after a left ACL injury he sustained in the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
In a heartbreaking development, the Warriors will have to figure out how to move forward with the 2021 season just around the corner.
The Warriors have already made some roster moves in the past few days, trading for Kelly Oubre Jr. while also drafting James Wiseman at 2nd overall during the 2020 NBA Draft.
