NBA: Bucks get Jrue Holiday, Bogdan Bogdanovic in separate trades

The Milwaukee Bucks, in an effort to reshape its supporting cast for MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, executed two trades involving Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

The Bucks first acquired Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, a slew of first round draft picks, and an additional two draft swaps.

Later, the Eastern Conference contenders took sharpshooter Bogdan Bogdanovic from the Sacramento Kings in a sign and trade deal.

In return, the Kings will get Donte Divicencio, Ersan Ilyasova, and DJ Wilson.

As per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the decision behind the deals were influenced by the need to surround Antetokokounmpo, their 2-time MVP, with a better crew.

The Bucks were the top-seeded team in the East but failed to get past the Miami Heat in the conference semi-finals.
