NBA playoffs: Jokic, Murray combine for 65 as Nuggets overcome Mitchell’s 57 [VIDEO]

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined for 65 points as the Denver Nuggets overcame a huge night from Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, 135-125 in overtime to take a 1-0 series lead in the NBA playoffs.

Mitchell scored a playoff-high 57 points and added 9 rebounds and 7 assists but the Nuggets were able to fend off that remarkable performance.

Murray had 36 points and 9 assists while Jokic added 29 points and 10 boards in the victory as Denver took home the first round series opener.

The Canadian guard scored 10 points in overtime where he would take charge to help beat the Jazz.

Denver had to overcome a deficit in the 4th quarter to force overtime, outscoring Utah 37-32 in the payoff period.

Utah was playing without Mike Conley, who had to leave the bubble for the birth of his child.
