FIBA E-Sports: Philippines sweeps Indonesia to win Southeast Asia conference
The Philippines completed a dominant 5-game sweep of Indonesia to rule the Southeast Asia conference of the inaugural 2020 FIBA E-Sports Open Sunday.
The Philippines once again waylaid Indonesia in their 5th and final encounter, 71-35 behind the exploits of NBA 2K champion Custer “Aguila” Galas.
Indonesia did show more competitiveness through the 1st 3 quarters, but the more experienced gamers from the Philippines flipped the switch in the 4th quarter with their lockdown defense and outside shooting.
The Philippines is in the Asia Conferences along with Saudi Arabia and Lebanon of the Middle East Conference and Australia and New Zealand of the Oceania Conference.
