NBA: Knicks legend Patrick Ewing recovering from COVID-19
New York Knicks legend and Georgetown Hoyas head coach Patrick Ewing has been discharged from his hospital and is recovering from COVID-19.
Ewing was diagnosed with the coronavirus last week. His son, Ewing Jr., posted a tweet updating about his father’s condition and thanking people for their support.

Ewing Jr. noted that his father is “getting better.”
Ewing, an 11-time all-star, played for the Knicks from 1985 to 2000. He is a two-time Olympic basketball gold medalist, including the 1992 edition where he was part of the Dream Team.
The 57-year-old Hall of Famer has career averages of 21 PPG, 9.8 RPG, and 2.4 BPG.
