Kai Sotto signs with Lillard, DeRozan rep Goodwin Sports Management
After signing with the NBA G-League’s professional pathway program, Filipino teenage sensation Kai Sotto made his next move known to the public.
The 18-year-old Sotto will be represented by Goodwin Sports Management of Aaron and Eric Goodwin, the agency announced.
The firm currently represents NBA stars like Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers, DeMar DeRozan of the San Antonio Spurs, and Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics.
Goodwin Sports was also the first agent of LeBron James before the superstar’s long-time friend Rich Paul founded Klutch Sports and has since represented James.
Sotto is reportedly set to make 10 million pesos from the G-League deal. Players signing with the pathway program will earn anywhere betwern 125,000 to 500,000 US dollars.
The 7-foot-2 center will be teammates with Jalen Green under the new Southern California G-League team which shall be competing against other G-League squads with NBA affiliate teams.
