UAAP Season 82 suspends games due to COVID-19 outbreak

The UAAP has decided to suspend all activities up to March 14, 2020 due to the recent spike in novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines.
There are already 24 confirmed cases of the disease in the Philippines, and most who contacted the virus reside in Metro Manila, where the UAAP holds most of its sporting events.

UAAP Season 82 President Emmanuel T. Fernandez also added students should stay “confined in their homes” and “continue to study.”
The UAAP had volleyball matches scheduled for this week supposedly.
The National University Lady Bulldogs are currently on top of the women’s tournament with two wins.
