Justin Brownlee returns to Alab Pilipinas
Renowned Barangay Ginebra import Justin Brownlee is set for a San Miguel Alab Pilipinas return to help the Filipino squad’s campaign in the 2019-2020 ASEAN Basketball League season.
The 6-foot-5 Brownlee mentioned last month after helping Ginebra win the PBA Governors’ Cup that he would love to return to Alab to give the club team a boost.
Alab currently has a 9-5 record in the 10-team tournament, sitting in the 2nd spot in the team standings.
Along with Renaldo Balkman, Brownlee helped the club win an ABL title 2 seasons ago, the 1st club championship of the team.
Although he failed to return last year because the club opted to sign PJ Ramos and Balkman, the wing man now has a chance to lead Alab to another crown.
Brownlee replaces Prince Williams, and joins Nick King and Sam Deguara as Alab imports.
