WATCH: Kelly Nabong says Terrence Jones ‘flops all the time’

Tense moments have always been a regular for the heated San Miguel-TNT KaTropa 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals showdown.

And in the latest chapter of the extra-curricular series, it was Beermen back-up big man Kelly Nabong who got in a confrontation with TNT import Terrence Jones late in the 4th quarter of what eventually became a 106-101 win for the Beermen to tie the series at 2-2.

As both teams headed to their benches, Nabong found himself along with Beermen big Christian Standhardinger in the way of Jones while the reinforcement was walking towards the TNT bench.

Jones pushed both Nabong and Standhardinger slightly to clear his path, and players got involved to prevent further trouble. Fortunately, the scene didn’t lead to something much worse.

Later in his post-game interview, Nabong brushed off what happened, but did have choice words for Jones, saying the former Houston Rocket “flops all the time” and that he shouldn’t be doing it since he has been in the NBA and is expected to act like a pro.

Just 2 days ago, San Miguel guard Chris Ross said Jones was “mentally a baby.”

Game 5 is set for Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
