Fr. Martin’s Cup: La Consolacion continues roll with win over PCU Dolphins
La Consolacion-Manila needed an extra period to book its third straight win at the expense of a gritty Philippine Christian University quintet, 89-83 in the 25th Fr. Martin’s Cup Summer League on Tuesday.
Jesse Bardaje came alive in the extra five minutes, scoring all of the 11 Blue Royals’ points in overtime to thwart the Dolphins who battled back from a 23-point deficit.
Bardaje finished with 21 points for La Consolacion-Manila who is also coming off big wins against Letran and National University.
Jexter Tolentino had a game-high 23 markers for the Dolphins.
