‘Stranger Things’ Star Milly Bobbie Brown Got Rejected For ‘Logan’
“Stranger Things” star Milly Bobbie Brown would’ve been in the “X-Men” franchise “Logan.” The 13-year-old actress revealed she auditioned in front of Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold and described this as one of her best performances. Unfortunately, they went with 11-year-old Dafne Keen for the part of Laura Kinney, or X-23, Logan’s daughter.
Brown, however, saw Keen’s performance in the movie and said she was incredible, as per Variety. Meanwhile, she herself didn’t do pretty badly as she landed the part of Eleven on “Stranger Things,” which went on to become a hit TV show.
“Stranger Things” on Netflix is in the middle of wrapping up filming for season 2. Stuff on the set remain hush-hush so there are no spoiler leakages on the internet. As co-star Caleb McLaughlin told Huffington Post there are some things in the script that aren’t clearly detailed. “That’s definitely good because it makes my reaction even better — for me to have a real reaction. I have no idea what that is,” he said.
Netflix has not yet revealed the return date for “Stranger Things” season 2. Last year, the show debuted in the middle of July and observers said the new season could drop on the streaming site sometime in the fall.
“Stranger Things” features a group of kids who have discovered an alternate world filled with demogorgons. Brothers Matt and Russ Duffer created the series. The show is set in the ’80s and was inspired by ’80s movies like “Goonies” and “ET.”
When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back.
Aside from Brown and McLaughlin, the show also stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Matthew Modine, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery and Charlie Heaton. New characters will be introduced in the upcoming installment and will follow a new storyline.
