EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals pairings drawn
MUNICH, Germany (EuroCup Women) – The EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals pairings have been arrived upon, following a draw in Munich on Thursday morning.
Following the completion of the EuroCup Women Round of 8 on February 16 which decided the first four Quarter-Finalists, the remaining four were confirmed following the completion of the EuroLeague Women Regular Season on Wednesday evening. The 5th and 6th placed teams from each of the two EuroLeague Women Regular Season groups round out the eight teams.
The EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals pairings are as follows (the team listed second plays the return leg at home):
Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (POL)* vs. Hatay BB (TUR)*
Good Angels Kosice (SVK) vs. Galatasaray (TUR)
ESBVA-LM (FRA)* vs. Yakin Dogu Universitesi (TUR)
BLMA (FRA)* vs. Bellona AGU (TUR)
*Denotes a EuroLeague Women Regular Season team
In accordance with the EuroCup Women regulations, in instances when a EuroCup Women team has been drawn against a EuroLeague Women team, the EuroCup Women team automatically plays the return leg at home. In the remaining pairings, the team with the higher ranking at the end of the Regular Season of the respective competition plays the return leg at home.
The Quarter-Finals will be played on March 7, with the return leg on March 10.
