Chris Evans and Elizabeth Olsen, who are co-stars on the “Avengers” movie and are seen in the new “Capt. America: Civil War” film, has admitted to their romance. Except that, there really isn’t any relationship and they’re just riding on the joke. The rumor mills have been spinning that the two are together in real life.

“Well we’ve been dating for, like, secretly for the last three years,” said Elizabeth Olsen when she and Chris Evans were guest on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” per People. “We’re actually engaged,” she added.

Chris went along with the joke as Olsen proceeded to say that the two of them have decided to “move in together” and then it didn’t happen, as what has been falsely reported in gossip sites. Per Daily Mail, Elizabeth Olsen used to date Boyd Holbrook and Tom Hiddleston, while Chris Evans was rumored to have dated Emma Rossum, Christina Ricci, Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly.

However, Ellen actually pointed out that they could be good together. “I mean you’re both single. And if they’re saying it, maybe somebody sees something you don’t.” The two first worked together for the Marvel movies in “Captain America: Winter Soldier” in 2014, but Olsen appeared briefly and was uncredited in the movie.
