Globe Business strengthens ties with top PH enterprise leaders
Globe Telecom information and communication technology (ICT) arm Globe Business takes superior customer experience a notch higher with the staging of its CEO Golf Classic, aiming to strengthen its relationships with the country’s top enterprise leaders over a friendly game of golf at the Ayala Greenfields Golf and Leisure Club in Laguna.
Now on its 11th year, the annual CEO Golf Classic attracts golf aficionados from various industries as one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year. As a premiere event, clients of Globe Business are invited to play a rousing 18 holes of golf, resulting to stronger bonds and ties with new and existing business partners.
Globe Chief Technology and Information Officer Gil Genio shared, “This event is more than just golf. It is our way to thank our partners for the trust they have given Globe all these years. It also opens up doors for new friendships and business relationships and we are all excited for what the future will bring.”
“This is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. I get to see some old friends, play on a beautiful field, and build relationships with other CEOs. The CEO Golf Classic also allows me to get to know everyone outside of work.” President and CEO of Shakey’s Pizza Vicente Gregorio added. Gregorio was also one of the participants of the ceremonial tee off for 2015.
The 11th Globe Business CEO Golf champions are IBPAP’s Raymond Lacdao, American Express’ Rahul Singh, Land Registration Systems Inc’s Delfin Hallare, and Visaya KPO’s Butch Valenzuela for Division 1, while Zuellig Pharma Corp’s Jamias Kasigod, Maxicare Health Corporation’s Jose Pastor Puno, Hedcor Inc’s Rene Ronquillo, and Shell’s Edgar Chua comprise the winners for Division 2. They competed in a four-man scramble with sliding tee-box format, designed to foster teamwork between the players and establish a balance of power among various competing teams’ capabilities.
The winners received Gift Certificates as well as Golf Equipment and other various prizes.
