Adele Clothing Line: Singer Working on Launching Small Fashion Collection for Busy Moms
Famous for her music, Adele might be set to create a tiny empire in the world of fashion as she is about to launch her own clothing.
According to Celebs Now, Adele is planning to release a line of loungeweear that will be perfect for busy mothers. The plan is currently in its early phase, but a source reveals that the “Hello” singer is discussing inputs from “several designers.”
“There will be a few signature pieces, like her favourite winter apparel, the poncho, but mostly it’ll be mix-and-match daywear in neutral tones. She’s chosen really high-end, soft fabrics – the clothes are meant to be comfortable above everything else,” the source told the news outlet.
Huffington Post Canada reports the singer will be releasing her clothing line under Evans, a well-known plus-size retailer in the U.K. The singer wore one of Evans’ pieces in her now-famous and record-breaking “Hello” video.
“When we worked with designers Clements Ribeiro, they used designers tried and tested on Adele. Their high street collection for Evans included the Adele dress – inspired by the very outfit she wore [at the 2012 Grammys],” said Evans’ Tom Dolan.
“Adele is very passionate about clothing,” said Jenny Packham who dressed the singer for her New York show back in November, per the New York Times. “She is very aware of how she wants to look, and knows what she wants.” These are perfect ingredients for starting a fashion line.
