Adele Graces Time Magazine Cover
Adele’s return to the music scene has indeed exploded in ways even the singer herself cannot imagine. As Time Magazine closes its issues for 2015, the “Hello” hit maker graces the latest cover and feature and also talks about her amazing comeback.
Dressed in all red on the cover, Adele’s striking Time feature discusses the music records she has already broken after the release of “25.” The singer also dishes on the state of the music industry amidst the frenzy of social media, and her life as a mom to a toddler.
“He makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much,” she told Time, in reference to Angelo, her 3-year-old son. “I’ve never not liked myself. I don’t have hangups like that. But I’m so proud of myself that I made him in my belly … I can’t wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes … Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what.”
Following the announcement of her tour in the U.S., demand for tickets became unbelievably high. There were only 750,000 seats for the whole concert series, but there were 10 million people looking to score tickets, per Rolling Stone.
“It’s a bit ridiculous,” she remarked and joked, “I’m not even from America. Maybe they think I’m related to the Queen. Americans are obsessed with the royal family.”
The full Time feature will be out on news stands this week.
