PH Keglers haul in gold, three silvers at Thailand World Para Bowling Championship 2019

The Philippines duo of Jaime Baguitan Manginga and Francisco Ramirez Endaco bagged the gold medal in the TPB8 doubles event of the Thailand World Para Bowling Championship 2019 at the Blu Rhythm & Bowl in Siam Paragon, Bangkok.

Manginga and Endaco racked up a total score of 2078, besting Malaysia and Thailand who settled for the silver and bronze respectively.

Malaysia’s Mohd Khairul Ishak and Zahidi Lamsah combined for a total score of 1,982 while Thailand’s Suphan Sinthusuwan and Supparat Pommingmad finished third with 1,879.

In other events, Kim Ian Tan Chi finished 1,169 for the silver medal in the TPB 10 event. He finished behind Chow Pui Kin of Hong Kong who topped the even with a total score of 1,231. Fauzi Ghazali of Malaysia rounded up third with 1,162.

Manginga won another medal in the TPB8 singles event, finishing with a score of 1,049 for the silver behind gold medal winner, Sinthusuwan. The Thai bowler topped the event with 1,102.

Rounding up the bowlers who won the silver medal is Rammelle Martin. The Filipino kegler finished with a score of 1,084 behind gold medallist Abu Bakar Nyat of Malaysia (1,145) in the TPB10 event.

The tandem of Kim Ian Chi and Samuel Matias upped the medal haul for the Philippines after bagging the bronze in the TPB10 doubles event.
