Junior Altas Tracksters crowned NCAA Season 94 Champs

Perpetual Junior Altas Track and Field Team finally barge their first plum in Athletics since they enter the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) in 1984

Junior Altas Tracksters collected 11 Golds, 8 Silvers and 4 Bronze to emerged as NCAA Season 94 Junior Division Champions as they garnered 1,044 Total Points, far behind second runner EAC-ICA Brigadiers with 392.5 point and San Beda U Red Cubs with 384.5 points.

Season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) , Grade 12 coed Jerick ‘Toto’ Arzaga collected Golds in 400m Hurdles, 110m Hurdles, 4x100m Relay and Bronze on 200m Run, Samal Island native Russel Ricaforte registers Breaking New Record in Discuss Throw with 42.89 meters (Gold) and Shot Put (Gold), Warren Villaroza set New Record in Long Jump in his 6.88 meters jump, Gold in 4×100 Relay and Silver in 200meters run; Jommel Gonzales set new Record in Steeple Chase for Gold Medal, Gold in 1500meters run and Silver in 800meters run.

Grade 10 Ernie Calipay registers New High Jump Record in NCAA in his 1.98 meters high for Gold Medal and another athlete jumper Emmanuel Medrano collected Silvers in Long Jump and High Jump and Bronze in Triple Jump; John Paul Sarmiento throws 65 meters long on Javelin for NCAA New Record.

Jerimiah Cortez got Gold in 100meters run, Bronze in 400m run and Gold in 4×100 Relay, John Paul Pagatpat Gold in 4×100 Relay and Silver in 400m Hurdles; Aljohn Rabina got Silver on Triple Jump, Silver medalist James Ceballos, breaks NCAA Record in 400m dash; Mark Vincent Quiambao, Gold in 4×100 Relay and Silver in 100meters run, Lexmar Cupin won Bronze in Javelin Throw.

“I am greatful, finally nakuha din namin ang Champion sa Juniors ng NCAA, am very proud of you guys, nagbunga din ang paghihirap natin sa trainings natin araw araw.” Coach Trece Academia said in interview
