Toyota Motor Philippines showcases electrified lineup at Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival 2026
Toyota Motor Philippines showcased its latest electrified vehicle lineup at the Sunshine TV Auto Focus Summer Multi-Brand Test Drive Festival 2026 held at Block 16 of the SM Mall of Asia Grounds. The four-day event from May 7 to May 10 featured Toyota’s expanding range of hybrid and battery electric vehicles under its Beyond Zero mobility strategy.
The activity allowed attendees to experience Toyota’s electrified mobility offerings alongside fuel-efficient internal combustion engine models, reflecting the brand’s multi-pathway approach to sustainable transportation in the Philippine market.

Electrified lineup display
Toyota presented a wide selection of electrified vehicles at the event, including the all-new RAV4 HEV, Urban Cruiser BEV, and bZ4X BEV. These models were made available for public test drives throughout the festival, giving visitors hands-on experience with hybrid and full electric technologies.
Alongside its electrified lineup, Toyota also showcased fuel-efficient ICE vehicles such as the Veloz V, Avanza G, and Raize Turbo. The mixed lineup demonstrated the company’s continued strategy of offering different mobility solutions depending on driver needs and usage patterns.

Lexus also participated for the first time in the summer test drive festival, bringing its electrified luxury lineup to the public. Featured models included the NXh Premier, LBX, RXh F-Sport, and the debut of the Lexus IS Premier in the Philippine market.
Beyond Zero mobility experience
Toyota Motor Philippines used the event to highlight its Beyond Zero philosophy, which focuses on reducing emissions while expanding access to electrified mobility options for customers. The test drive format allowed visitors to directly experience how hybrid and electric systems perform in real-world driving conditions.
According to Toyota Motor Philippines First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Elijah Marcial, the initiative emphasized giving customers a direct understanding of electrified mobility benefits through actual driving exposure rather than presentation alone.
The event reinforced Toyota’s broader mobility strategy in the Philippines, which includes hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery electric, and fuel-efficient gasoline vehicles, reflecting a gradual and flexible transition toward electrification.
