MPCALA Holdings Inc., concessionaire of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) and subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, has signed agreements with EEI Corporation and CM Pancho Construction, Inc. (CMPCI) to push through the final phases of construction on the tollway.

EEI will take charge of Subsection 1, covering the stretch from Open Canal to Kawit, while CMPCI will oversee Subsection 2, which runs from Governor’s Drive to Open Canal.

Driving Toward Full Alignment

CALAX, a 45-kilometer expressway, already operates through key interchanges such as Laguna Technopark, Laguna Blvd., Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, and Silang Aguinaldo. These segments have eased travel in Southern Luzon, but major works remain to connect the full alignment.

Target Completion in 2026

The expressway’s remaining subsections, including Subsection 3 from Silang Aguinaldo to Governor’s Drive, are under active construction. MPCALA expects the entire tollway to be completed by the first half of 2026, promising smoother travel and stronger regional connectivity for motorists in Cavite and Laguna.
