‘Supergirl’ Season 1 Cast News: Wonder Woman Lynda Carter To Guest Star?
After having The Flash on “Supergirl” in its recent episode, the show’s producers are planning to bring another DC character into the fold. Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the 80s TV series, might be appearing on the show too.
“Supergirl” producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti said that they have the “perfect role” for the actress, wholimits her film and TV work. But before fans get too excited about this, the plan is to have Carter in future episodes. “We couldn’t work out her schedule. Next year,” the producers told Entertainment Weekly.
The show has yet to get a second season renewal from CBS, but there are earlier reports that almost confirms its coming back for next season. When that happens, Carter will get to play the first female president of the United States “Supergirl,” the producers said. It’s going to be something to watch.
The show also had Dean Cain and Helen Slater in previous episodes as Kara’s parents. Cain and Slater previously played Superman on television and Supergirl in the movies respectively.
“Supergirl” on CBS is played by Melissa Benoist and she’s supported by Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord.
